“Art School Girls” is the long awaited debut album from Brookyln Trio Ninjasonik. Emcee Telli describes their sound as “cultural fusion” and says that sound hasn’t been merged like what they do. The trio consists of a “rapper”, a “punk” and a “musicologist”. Right away you can tell that this album is not a typical hip hop record and Ninjasonik themselves are not easily labelled.

Drake- So Far Gone Mixtape
Release: February 13 2009
Review by: @ibehRoxx
Drake’s third official mixtape released via OCTOBERSVERYOWN.BLOGSPOT.COM, is most definitley his best body of work thus far in his young hip-hop career. Even though Lil’ Wayne has a few features on this mixtape, the songs were made well before the Young Money over-saturation really set into his music style. Anyway, enough talking. Time for the review of 2009′s Mixtape of the Year. I will be dissecting a few tracks on the mixtape, and critiquing the mixtape as a whole. [ TheHipHopEffect.com ]
