So apparently this is a freestyle, and apparently Pusha T is planning on releasing a solo mixtape entitled “Fear Of God”. In my honest opinion, I don’t think Pusha and Malice should do anything separate. If the rumors (and here) are true though, not only is September 14th shaping up to be a great day for hip-hop music, but Kanye is planning on having his hands all over it. Sounds fine to me.

Hello to all, I’m your new blogger Justin Taylor and I was going to do a big introduction post but Ant took care of that. The first track I’m going to bring to you guys is a “THHE Exclusive”, so you’re hearing it here first. Accompanied by an epic violin orchestral piece by Jorge Quintero, Stevie Styles displays his linguistic skills and ability to paint a picture over a beat. With a lot of new school hip-hop going the way of spacey-synth anthems (my self included), this track brings a lot of that early 90′s hip-hop feel to it.

The guy behind Kanye’s new single sat down with MTV to talk about how the whole thing came about. You can watch it over on MTV but if you’re outside the US you’ll have to do some reading, a snippet of which (the best bit) is just below and the rest is under the cut.
“The way it came together, I work with Rhymefest,” S1 told MTV News about the song, referring to another Chicago MC. “I did like four joints on his album. And one day, out the blue, I got a text from Rhymefest that said, ‘Kanye is loving your stuff, he said he’s about to change your life.’ Two days later, I got an e-mail that said my flight to Hawaii [where West recorded much of the album] leaves in three hours! So I was on a flight, and it just happened like that. I went down and stayed for like two weeks, banged out some joints.
